Strategy Exercise #2: Time Management Tips
We often feel overwhelmed with things we have to do and are so quick to say, “I don’t have time”. Strategy Exercise #2 is the first step to analyze just how much time you spend doing [non] productive things and how you can make time to get things done.
Begin your time management exercise for next seven days by taking inventory of your daily activities each hour beginning with the time you awake through bedtime. Here are a few examples:
5:30AM – Alarm rings. Television comes on – watch local news until 7:00AM
7:00AM – Rise, Make Coffee, Shower, Dress
8:15AM – Leave for work
12:00 – 1:00PM – Lunch time
5:30PM – Leave Office
6:30PM – Home, prepare dinner
7:00PM – 9:30 – Watching television, on Facebook, Reading
